Every plan carries the same index: CEFR-labelled clips, word-level timings and the transcript behind them. What changes is how much you may call and what we commit to.

Starter and Growth are self-serve: sign in on the keys page, pick a plan, pay by card. Your existing keys move to the new limits within a minute, there is nothing to rotate. Yearly billing is $189.99 for Starter and $989.99 for Growth, about two months free. Prices are launch pricing, and a plan you hold keeps its price.

The trial key is self-serve and needs no card. It is sized for evaluation, not for traffic: enough to run every endpoint, read a transcript, wire a prototype. Commercial traffic needs a paid plan.
Check the corpus before you buy
GET /corpus is public and reports what is actually indexed right now, including how much of the vocabulary has clips:

What you are paying for
Not the videos. They are public and they stay on their platform; you play them through the official embed, as Playback and attribution describes.
What you licence is the index: which word is spoken in which clip, at which second, at which CEFR level, from a curated and screened channel list. That is the part nobody else has, and the part that takes a daily pipeline to keep alive.
Attribution
Two credits, both short:
- The source channel: its name and a link to the video. This is a condition of the embed, not a VocaFlare preference.
- VocaFlare: a visible "Clips by VocaFlare" link to
https://clips.vocaflare.comon each page or screen that shows clips, for example under the player or in its caption line.
Enterprise can waive the VocaFlare credit. The channel credit stays wherever the integration allows it.
Questions we get
Can I cache responses? Yes, and you should. See Caching.
What happens when I run out? Requests answer 429 with quota_exceeded until the day (paid plans) or the month (trial) resets. Nothing is billed automatically and no traffic is silently upgraded.
Can I switch plans mid-month? Yes, from the billing portal on the keys page. Keys change limits in place; you do not need to rotate them.
Can I get a refund? Yes, within 14 days of your first payment, no questions asked. See the Refund Policy.
How do I cancel? In the same portal. The plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then the account returns to the trial limits. Keys keep working.
