Word to timestamp
Ask for a word, get back clips and the second it is spoken in each one. Seek straight to it.
Short videos with a CEFR level, a timed transcript and the second where each word is spoken. The same index runs inside the VocaFlare app.
Version 1 is live at https://clips.vocaflare.com/v1. A trial key is self-serve. If a field is missing for your use case, say so now: the shape freezes as integrations land.
The corpus is growing daily. GET /corpus reports its current size and is the one endpoint that answers without a key.
Every word page on vocaflare.com plays its clips through this API, over 8,600 of them. Open one, for example travel or accident, and the video under the example sentence is a GET /words/{word}/clips response rendered with the official embed. That page is the reference integration.
VocaFlare indexes short videos from a curated list of channels. For each clip we store the caption cues with their timings, and the catalogue words that appear in it with the second they are spoken. That index is the product.
The same index powers the Clips feed inside the VocaFlare app, so it is maintained because we use it, not because it is sold.
