Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Clips API and this website. The VocaFlare language app has its own policy at vocaflare.com/en/privacy.
What we collect
- Account data: the email address and name from the Google account you sign in with.
- Key data: the name you give each key, when it was created and last used. The key itself is stored only as a one-way hash; we cannot show it to you again.
- Usage data: the number of requests per key per day, and technical request logs (time, endpoint, status, IP address, user agent) kept for security and debugging.
- Billing data: your plan, subscription status and renewal dates. Card details and billing address are collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record; we never see your card number.
The API does not receive personal data about your own users unless you put it in a request. Do not.
Why we use it
To issue and secure keys, enforce plan limits, bill subscriptions, answer support requests, and keep the service reliable and free of abuse.
Who we share it with
- Lemon Squeezy for payments, invoices and tax.
- Google for sign-in.
- Cloudflare and our hosting provider (Hetzner, Germany) to run the service.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Account and billing records are kept while your account exists and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Technical request logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction, or the deletion of your account by writing to [email protected]. Deleting the account revokes its keys.
